About Us JG Pears is a fourth-generation family business that grew from a livestock farm near Penistone into one of the largest names in the UK's animal by-products sector. The Group has continued to expand, running a modern fleet of vehicles that moves material between sites and customers nationwide.
We're looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team at our Twycross site, covering Class 1 work with the flexibility to support Class 2 duties as needed. • Salary: 16.52 per hour, plus enhanced weekend pay and driver bonuses available • Location: Twycross, CV9 3LP • Working pattern: Days only, averaging 50 hours per week, with start times between 4am and 6am Core Benefits • 28 days holiday entitlement, pro rata depending on shift pattern • Company pension scheme (employer contribution 3% Employee contribution 5%) • Company sick pay scheme • Financial education and guidance through external providers • 300 Introduce a Friend reward About the Role This is a days-only role, averaging 50 hours a week with start times between 4am and 6am. It's mostly Class 1 driving, with occasional Class 2 cover when needed.
