What the numbers are
Everything on JobsBrio — ranges, indexes, maps, gauges — is market information built from rates people report and pay advertised in live job listings. It's a guide to what work pays, not a recommended price, a quote, or legal, tax, financial, or employment advice. Always price your own job on its own legs.
How we make money
When you hit Apply we send you to the source job board (Careerjet, Adzuna and others). Some of those links are affiliate links, which means JobsBrio may earn a small fee if you click through or apply — at no cost to you, and it never changes which jobs we show you or how we rank them. Workers never pay us for anything.
No guarantees
We work to keep the data honest — thin data is flagged, junk gets removed — but we can't guarantee any figure is right for your job, your patch, or your week. Decisions you make off the back of it are yours.
Submitting rates
Submit only rates that are genuinely yours and true. Made-up numbers poison the well for every tradesman using the index, and we remove anything that looks like manipulation, spam, or an attempt to skew a range.
Using the data
Share screenshots, show your mates, argue with your site manager — that's what it's for. What's not on: scraping the site or republishing the index wholesale as your own product. If you want to use the data for something bigger, ask us.
The service
The site is provided as-is and free for workers. We may change or remove features as it grows. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
