Our page-view analytics are cookie-free — they count visits without identifying or following you.
One strictly-necessary cookie
Saving jobs and setting rate alerts without an account needs one cookie: jb_sid, a random identifier that connects your browser to your saved board. It's HTTP-only, does nothing across other sites, is never linked to your real identity, and is exempt from consent rules because the feature you asked for can't work without it. Clear it and you simply start with an empty board.
Apply clicks
When you click “Apply” we log the click (which board, which source) so we can measure what's useful and detect click fraud. It is tied to your jb_sid and a one-way scrambled hash of your IP and browser — pseudonymous, not anonymous, and never reversed to identify you. Full detail on the privacy page.
