This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, Home Delivery Driver, Rigid Driver or Lorry Driver. Shifts • Night Shift Available • 4 ON / 4 OFF Rates of Pay • 16.50 - 18.00 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive the following benefits: • Excellent Hourly Rates (PAYE - Holiday Pay Accrued Separately) • Weekly Pay • Ongoing Long-Term Work • Immediate Starts Available • Newly Passed Drivers Welcome • Full Training and Ongoing Support • Career Development Opportunities • Company Discounts After Qualifying Period • Staff Canteen • Free On-site Parking • Supportive Working Environment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to: • Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently to customer delivery locations • Working as part of a professional two-person delivery team • Loading and unloading vehicles safely (some handball required) • Completing pre- and post-journey vehicle safety checks • Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule • Securing loads in line with transport and health and safety regulations • Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations • Following all transport legislation, tachograph regulations and company procedures • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers throughout your shift Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: • A valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • A valid CPC Qualification Card • A valid Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements • A reliable, punctual and professional attitude • Good communication and customer service skills • A sound understanding of road transport legislation and driver regulations • The ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team Desirable Experience • Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience • Multi-drop delivery experience • Experience delivering large or bulky goods • Customer-facing delivery experience Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
