Yard / Warehouse Operative Job Types: Full-Time, Permanent Pay: 34,000 per annum Location: Welham Green, AL9 Due to growth, we are looking to add a colleague to the Warehouse team at an established independent Builders merchant. We are currently looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to assist in the day-to-day operations of a busy yard / warehouse environment. Job Specification: • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift truck, picking orders, and moving stock around the site. • Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner. • Checking loaded goods against delivery notes. • Assisting Trade Counter customers as required. • Keeping work areas clean and tidy. • Some manual handling is required. • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times. • Shift pattern is 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, 7am to 1pm. Person Specification: • Builders merchant experience preferred – training will be given. • Be self-motivated and be able to work as part of a team. • Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail. • Be able to follow Health and Safety regulations. • Good communication and customer service skills.
