As a Transport Returns Operative, you'll play a vital role in maintaining vehicle compliance, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring a smooth end-of-day process for our drivers. • Salary: 28,255.50 per annum • Hours: 40.25 hours per week • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off • Start/Finish time: 10.00am - 10:00pm • Job Type: Full time 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Here’s what you can expect to be doing • Debrief drivers and inspect returning vehicles for compliance and safety. • Report defects, damages, or safety concerns promptly. • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding daily routes and operational issues. • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as needed. • Manage returns documentation and perform related administrative tasks. • Update depot performance statistics and contribute to daily reporting. A few things about you • An understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations is desirable. • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges. • Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written). • Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel. • Confident in addressing vehicle-related concerns with drivers in a constructive manner.
