Warehouse Operative – Northampton People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Northampton This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday hours, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Picker Packer, Goods In Operative, Logistics Operative, Production Operative, or General Operative. Shifts • Monday – Friday • 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch break – 8 hours paid) Rates of Pay • 12.71 per hour • Weekly pay Benefits As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive: • Weekly pay • No weekend work • Overtime available • Stable Monday to Friday working pattern • Immediate starts available • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: • Loading and unloading vans • Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks • Moving pallets and stock around the warehouse • Sorting and organising goods • Completing goods in duties and booking stock into the system • Picking and preparing orders for dispatch • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment • Completing other duties as assigned by the management team Essential Skills As a Warehouse Operative, you will need: • A basic level of English • A reliable and punctual attitude • Good communication skills • The ability to work effectively as part of a team • A willingness to learn and undertake a variety of warehouse duties Desirable Experience • Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial; however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.
