Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – ALFRETON, DERBYSHIRE People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Alfreton, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to grow and progress within a busy warehouse environment. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Picker/Packer, Order Picker, Production Operative or Goods In Operative. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 rotating weekly • Sunday to Thursday • 22:00 – 06:00 Rates of Pay • 14.78 per hour ROT • 17.01 per hour Nights Benefits As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive: • Weekly pay • Excellent hourly rates • On-site parking • Overtime available • Canteen with hot and cold food • Ongoing work opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Picking customer orders for the supply chain • Stock control and replenishing shelves • Accepting incoming deliveries and processing orders • Counting inventory and ensuring orders are dispatched in a timely manner • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment • Lifting and carrying items up to 15kg • Supporting additional warehouse duties where required Essential Skills To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need: • Basic level of spoken and written English • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic • Ability to work well as part of a team • Flexible and adaptable approach to work • Good verbal communication skills • Ability to pass a basic English and numeracy test • Physically fit and able to lift items up to 15kg • Ability to work towards targets and maintain high standards Desirable Experience • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment Training Provided • Full training provided • Additional ongoing support and development Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a Warehouse Operative, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
