Warehouse Operative – Paisley People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Paisley. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, consistent hours, and the chance to secure a long-term role within a busy warehouse and logistics environment. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Parcel Sorter, Picker Packer, Loader, Unloader, Distribution Operative or General Operative. Shifts • Tuesday to Saturday • 05:00 start • Ongoing work available • Start date: End of July • Applicants must be fully available to work the above shift pattern on an ongoing basis Rates of Pay • 12.71 per hour • Weekly pay every Friday • Overtime may be available depending on site requirements Benefits As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive: • Ongoing, long-term work opportunity • Consistent weekly hours • Weekly pay • Early starts with afternoons free • Support from People Solutions throughout the recruitment process • Opportunity to work within a busy logistics and distribution environment • On-site training provided • Immediate consideration for suitable candidates Day-to-Day Duties As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Loading and unloading parcels and freight • Sorting parcels accurately for dispatch • Moving goods safely around the warehouse • Preparing items for delivery routes • Manual handling, including lifting, bending and moving stock • Working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment • Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe • Following all site health and safety procedures • Supporting the wider warehouse team where required Essential Skills As a Warehouse Operative, you will need: • Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, loading, unloading or distribution experience is desirable • Be physically fit due to the manual handling involved • Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment • Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work • Good attention to detail • Able to follow instructions and site processes • Own transport due to the 05:00 start time • Available to work Tuesday to Saturday on an ongoing basis Desirable Experience • Previous warehouse or logistics experience would be advantageous Training Provided • Registration and compliance process completed through People Solutions prior to start date • Ongoing support from the People Solutions recruitment team Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a Warehouse Operative, apply today by clicking below.
