Warehouse Operative – Erdington, Birmingham People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Erdington, Birmingham on a full-time temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering 12.91 per hour, ongoing work, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a busy logistics operation. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker, Picker Packer, High Level Order Picker (HLOP), Quality Control Operative, Stock Controller, or RDT Scanner Operator. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 07:00 – 16:00 Rates of Pay • 12.71 per hour Benefits As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive: • Weekly pay • Temporary to permanent opportunity • Free on-site parking • Site canteen • Ongoing work • Training and career progression opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: • Completing quality checks across all aspects of the contract • Checking incoming stock for accuracy and damage • Carrying out quality inspections and producing reports • Labelling products and preparing stock for dispatch • Using RDT scanners accurately and efficiently • Reporting damaged stock to the supervisor • Packing products ready for dispatch • Interacting with customers within the warehouse environment • Operating a High Level Order Picker (HLOP) when required • Following all health and safety procedures and company policies Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: • A good standard of English, both written and spoken • Previous warehouse experience • Experience using RDT scanners confidently • The ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • A reliable, hardworking, and professional approach • The ability to follow instructions and work safely • Comfortable working at height Desirable Experience • Previous High Level Order Picker (HLOP) experience • Experience within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment • Quality control or stock checking experience Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are interested in this opportunity as a Warehouse Operative, click apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
