Production Operative / Assembly

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for our well-established client based in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing company as an Assembly Operative. This is a manufacturing role – not a food factory. The Role Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for assembling greenhouses from manufacturing drawings. Working from these drawings, you will manufacture components to the correct size and specification. Your duties will include: • Assembling greenhouse components from technical drawings. • Cutting frames to the required length. • Punching holes and preparing components for assembly. • Using a variety of basic hand tools, including drills, hammers, hand saws, and screwdrivers. • Carrying out any other duties as required by the client. What We're Looking For • A good work ethic and a positive attitude. • Good attention to detail. • Ability to use basic hand tools. • Previous assembly experience is desirable. • Previous metal manufacturing or fabrication experience would be an advantage.
