Production Operative People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Irlam. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable manufacturing business. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Factory Operative, Machine Operative or Assembly Operative and are looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced production environment. Shifts: • Rotating shifts on a weekly basis – you must be able to work all shift patterns • Week 1: Monday to Friday 6.00AM – 2.00PM • Week 2: Monday to Friday 2.00PM – 10.00PM • Week 3: Sunday to Thursday 10.00PM – 6.00AM Rates of Pay: • AM Shift: 13.68 per hour • PM Shift: 14.34 per hour • Night Shift: 15.00 per hour Benefits: • Opportunity for growth and career development • Full training and ongoing support • Dynamic and supportive team environment • Free on-site parking Day-to-Day Duties: • Manufacturing a range of fire prevention products in line with company specifications and quality standards • Following all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations at all times • Carrying out production tasks including palletising finished products, bagging products, and assembling small components such as fitting rubber washers to sprinklers • Conducting visual quality checks to ensure products meet required standards • Reporting any hazards, defects, or safety concerns to management promptly • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment • Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines • Complying with all company policies and site rules • Undertaking any other reasonable duties as assigned by management Essential Skills: • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving materials • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow work instructions accurately • A team-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively • Must be able to work rotating shifts • Good communication skills • Strong time management and problem-solving skills • Adaptability and a proactive attitude • Good eye for detail and a strong work ethic • Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment (essential) • Availability to start work as soon as possible Training provided: • Full company policy and procedure training will be provided Apply: If you are interested in this role, please apply today to be considered People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
