FLT Counterbalance Driver Location: Pontefract (WF8) Pay Rate: 14.44 - 14.52 per hour (Paid Breaks) Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing Work | Permanent Opportunities Available Shift Pattern This role operates on a rotating 3 on / 3 off shift pattern: • 3 x Day Shifts – 7:00am to 7:00pm • 3 Days Off • 3 x Night Shifts – 7:00pm to 7:00am • 3 Days Off This cycle then repeats. About the Role We are currently recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers with Double Handler experience to join a busy FMCG drinks production site in Pontefract. This is primarily a forklift-based role, supporting warehouse and production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Operating Double Handler FLTs safely and efficiently • Loading and unloading vehicles • Transporting stock throughout warehouse and production areas • Supplying production lines with materials • Stacking and storing finished goods • Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations • Completing daily FLT safety checks • Following all site health & safety procedures Requirements • Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence • Double Handler experience is desired but not neccessary • RTITB or ITSSAR accredited licence preferred • Previous warehouse or FMCG experience preferred • Good understanding of health & safety procedures • Reliable, flexible, and able to commit to rotating day and night shifts Site Information • Non-smoking site – no smoking or vaping permitted • Allergen-free environment • Warm working conditions • Strict hygiene standards • No jewellery permitted • No false nails or false eyelashes • Safety boots and hi-vis required • Additional PPE provided on site Benefits • Paid breaks • Free food and drinks on site • Full-time, consistent hours • Weekly pay • Immediate starts available • On-site parking • Retail and supermarket discounts • Wellbeing, financial, and legal support services • Staff shop with heavily discounted products Apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch shortly.
