MIG Welder

MIG Welder - Warrington People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our client based in Appleton Thorn, Warrington. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Metal Worker, Fabrication Welder or Welder and are looking to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment. Please note: You must have your own transport for this role due to the location of the site. Rates of Pay: • 16.44 per hour - Day shift • 20.14 per hour - Late shift Shift Pattern: As a MIG Welder, you will work: • Must be able to work either day or late shift • Day shift: 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 to 12:00 Friday • Late shift: 16:00 to 02:30 Monday to Wednesday and 16:00 to 01:30 Thursday Benefits: Your benefits as a MIG Welder are: • Ongoing work • Opportunity to become permanent • Site car parking • No weekend work • Early finish on a Friday Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as a MIG Welder are: • Setting up components and equipment for the welding process as per job card • Preparing materials and setting up jigs to ensure safe and effective assembly • Interpreting specifications and drawings accurately to ensure products are within tolerance • MIG welding mild and stainless steel • Maintaining housekeeping standards, including 'clean as you go' practices • Working with knowledge of 5S principles (advantageous but not essential) Essential Skills: To be successful as a MIG Welder, you will need: • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings • Positive attitude towards work, colleagues and management • Good dexterity and strong practical skills • Logical and methodical approach to tasks • Computer literate and confident using IT systems within a manufacturing environment • Previous experience in MIG welding • Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment Training: • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your employment Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity as a MIG Welder , please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
