CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Salary up to 42,000 per annum DOE overtime Yolk Recruitment are supporting a successful precision engineering business with the recruitment of an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist to join their growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional who can programme, set and operate CNC turning machines, producing complex, high-quality components to tight tolerances for demanding industries including aerospace. The successful candidate will join a busy and expanding engineering environment, working with modern CNC machinery, Fanuc controls, and a wide range of materials. As a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision-engineered components from customer drawings, ensuring quality, accuracy and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities: • Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components. • Create new CNC programmes from engineering drawings and customer specifications. • Use Fanuc-controlled CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. • Carry out tooling selection, setting and optimisation to improve production efficiency. • Complete programme edits, offsets and minor adjustments to maintain quality standards. • Machine a variety of materials including stainless steel and aluminium. • Manufacture components ranging from small precision parts through to larger diameter components. • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. • Maintain accurate production records and adhere to quality procedures. This is what you'll need: • Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines. • Strong Fanuc CNC control experience. • Ability to programme machines from engineering drawings.
