Electrician West London | 3 month contract, 37.5 hours per week| 19.21 - 21.28 umbrella A leading NHS Trust in London is seeking an Electrician to join its Estates & Facilities team, supporting a diverse healthcare estate across multiple sites. The Role You will deliver a broad range of planned, reactive, and minor works, ensuring electrical systems and infrastructure are maintained safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities • Carry out maintenance, fault finding, and installation across electrical plant and building services • Work on systems including fire alarms, nurse call, CCTV, access control, lighting & power distribution • Ensure compliance with HTMs, statutory regulations, and NHS standards • Act as a Competent Person for LV systems where required • Use CAFM/mobile systems to manage and close work orders within SLAs • Participate in on-call rota (24/7 cover) and emergency response • Support contractor management and ensure adherence to safety procedures • Undertake testing, inspections, and planned preventative maintenance Requirements • Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent • NVQ Level 2 or 3 / City & Guilds • 18th Edition (BS7671) essential • Strong experience in commercial or healthcare environments • Experience working on LV systems, alarms, and building services plant • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, reactive environment • Good communication skills and strong problem-solving ability • Full UK driving licence desirable Desirable • Previous NHS or healthcare experience • Electrical inspection & testing (2391 or equivalent)
