Temporary Cleaning Operative (1 Week Cover) Location: Luton Duration: 1 Week Temporary Assignment Pay Rate: 13.45 per hour Start Date: Immediate Start Available About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to provide temporary cover for a commercial office building in Luton for a period of one week. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities • Cleaning office areas, including floors, desks, and communal spaces. • Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area. • Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities. • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately. • Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels. • Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning duties. • Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns. Requirements • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. • Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. • Good understanding of health and safety and hygiene practices.
