Cleaning Operative Location: Dorchester (DT12) Pay: 12.71 per hour Start Date: ASAP This is a temporary position! Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team in Dorchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within commercial premises, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors • Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures • Clean and sanitise washrooms, replenishing consumables as required • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately • Clean kitchens, break areas, and communal spaces • Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly • Follow health and safety procedures at all times • Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to management • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site Requirements • Previous cleaning experience • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Good attention to detail • Enhanced DBS
