Full-Time Caretaker / Cleaner - Greenwich Location: Greenwich Hours: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Caretaker / Cleaner to join our friendly team at a welcoming school in Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working in a positive educational environment. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a strong knowledge of caretaking and cleaning responsibilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring the school remains safe, clean, and well-presented. A relevant degree or qualification is preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out daily cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment. • Undertake general caretaking tasks, including basic maintenance and minor repairs. • Ensure the security of the school premises, including opening and locking the site where required. • Monitor and report maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, and equipment faults. • Assist with setting up rooms and facilities for school activities and events. • Maintain outdoor areas to a high standard. • Adhere to all health and safety policies and safeguarding procedures. What We're Looking For: • Previous experience in a caretaker and/or cleaning role. • Strong practical knowledge of building maintenance, cleaning standards, and health & safety. • Excellent organisational and communication skills. • A dependable, flexible, and proactive attitude. • A relevant degree or qualification is preferred.
